The Gazebo represents so many different gatherings every year in our Village of Fredericktown. We gather there to begin the Memorial Day Parade, we watch the Marching Band perform there, Elvis even shows up here a couple times throughout the summer! Trick or Treat just wouldn't be the same without stopping to grab a doughnut from the kind volunteers so patiently handing them out to the entire community and I know many of you reading this are recalling a few of your own memories and realizing just how wonderful the events are that surround our adorable village gazebo. My inspiration came when thinking about the upcoming Tomato Show and how we have all run around the craft area looking to see what they have this year while other parents stand there to chat while spying on their children as they run from ride to ride. It is a place full of small town traditions, reconnecting with old friends, connecting with new people and just showing what a great town (village) we are as a whole.
