Once again my mother's gardens are inspiration for a painting. My mom has always loved her hostas and has them all around her flower beds and driveway. Once a year the hostas all shoot out their long stalks and white and purple blooms are all around. In this series I wanted to share how nature reflects life (at least in my mind). I feel like these stalks reach to the sky with a sense of pride; they remind me to stand strong whether its sunny or raining in my life. Hopefully you see what I see.
